[Situation] Near the South end of Gardeners Crescent. A large plain rectangular building with Grecian front It is a Quoad Sacra church but in some degree subordinate to St. Cuthberts The minister is the Revd D. Pittendrigh It is Capable of accommodating about 1100 of a Congregation with Seats. - The minister Revd [Reverend] John Pittendrigh Says that this church is in an unsettled state almost all the congregation having gone to the Free Church he also says he could not properly call it Quoad Sacra nor neither chapel of ease but would recommend calling it the former term |
