In the centre is a small ornamental inclosure, railed in, planted & laid out for a promenade. On the West side of the Square there are two buildings only; viz: a good dwelling house of three storeys, & a United Presbyterian Church. The North & South sides of this square are partly formed by the ends of houses fronting Tay Street & present but an indifferent appearance. |

They are all occupied by respectable families & are principally owned by their respective occupants |
