075 A handsome Gothic building erected in the Year 1817 and Consecrated 1864, it is 90 feet in length by 65 in breadth, and consists of a Nave and two aisles the interior which Can accommodate 1200 persons is very elegant, the Ceiling is groined, and supported by Clustered pillars which divide the aisles from the body of the Church, over the Altar there is a beautiful stained glass window, at the west end of the Church is the Choir with a fine organ. the present clergymen are the Bishop (the Right Revd T Suther D.C.L. [Doctor of Canon Law]) his Chaplain the Revd. [Reverend] R Demaus MA [Master of Arts] and the Curate the Revd. [Reverend] F Anderson.
