Accents and Symbols
Alt codes are ways you can get special symbols by pressing the 'Alt' key and numbers on your keyboard. You can also get special symbols by using the 'Alt Gr' key and pressing letters.
For those of you who don't have number pads you may find it easier to copy and paste from a Word document.
We have provided some of the codes below but there are also a variety of useful websites:
