appearance of A Fort. being evidently defended at this place by three mound like fences parallel to each other and trenched between. Three of these lines ar Still visible where the Abbut from the west Steep But as they have been BroKen through by Cultivation there is three Mounds Left standing where the inhabitants thinks the dead are Buried hence. Part of the name Graves. From the west steep round to the end of the South Steep there is A Broad green walk. which the inhabitant Calls the [Cannon ]Race. At the foot of the West [Streep] there is A Bathing Cottage Belonging to the proprieter of the Land Sir A. Agnew. Bt. [Baronet] who has the West [Sloap] laid out in walks some of which [Tops] the Steep & Joines the fort. This place is on the Farm of Meickle Larbrax. And Conveniant to the Sea Shore. At Broad Sea Bay . And is altogether A Curious looking place
