008 [Situation] In the Village of blacKridge
A Small rough stone edifice on the N. [North] side of the Village it built by Subscription & intended as a Chapel of Ease, the Original Ph [Parish] Church being at the E. [East] end of the Parish. It was erected in 1837 & Opened for public Worship in 1838. The interior is quite plain having a small gallery Round three Sides of the building - It Contains sittings for about 500 - Since the disruption it has been used (on Sufferance) by the Free Church Congregation but Can be taken at any time by the Establishment. There is no resident Clergyman
