A long narrow lane extending from the W. [West] end of Dyke Head S. [South] to North Bridge Street, it contains only two dwelling houses, U.P. [United Presbyterian] Church & manse and the Brewery is at the N. [North] end. It derives its name from the U.P. [United Presbyterian] Church being situated in it.
