Traces 3, 5 & 6 of Sheet 90 of Kildonan
parish are sent herewith.
On traces 3 & 6 a Glebe is shewn & written
and on trace 5 another Glebe is shewn and
written. __ Are there two Glebes in the Ph. [Parish]
one attached to the ancient Ph. [Parish] Church on
traces 3 & 6 and the other on trace 5 at-
tached to the New parish Church in
the Village of Helmsdale.
It is very doubtful whether the inclosure
on trace 5 is a Glebe; or, merely a grass
inclosure given by his Grace the Duke of
Sutherland to the Ph. [Parish] Minister for his accom-
modation and could be taken from him
at the will and pleasure of His Grace
the Duke of Sutherland.
If there are really two Glebes there is
but on described in the Name Sheets
