108 This name is applied to a large stone situated on a small Knoll in the district of Airdeens, No information could be obtained concerning it, but evidently it must have been much larger, as it is much reduced by stones being removed for building fences etc.
HUT CIRCLES [E of Carn an Duin] Hut Circles 108 About half a mile to the east of this object are two very complete hut circles, and in their immediate vicinity, are several stone cairns, none of which appear to have been opened, All the above objects are on the estate of D, Gilchrist Esqr of Ospisdale from "Càrn an Dùin" About a 1/4 of mile N.W. [North West] there are also several Cairns which are shown on the Plan.
