024.04 | A small stone Bridge of one arch over the Pow Burn it is so called from an Abbey having once stood in its vicinity, but so Completely has the work of destruction been done at the Reformation that even its site Cannot now be Pointed out. This bridge was erected about 20 years ago upon the spot where an old one stood, no vestige of which now remains. The Old name is however still retained, and applied to the bridge now existing. |
