024.04 A monolith about 6 feet in height and resting on a rude pedestal.- It is the remains of an ancient cross, the transverse Portion having been destroyed Probably at the date of the Reformation. From this circumstance it is Popularly Known by the name of the "Headless Cross" in the locality.
