[Company's] line of Railway to Tweedmouth thus connecting it with the direct Main line from London to Edinburgh. On its way, it throws off 4 branches - one to Peebles, from Bonnyrig; one to Selkirk from Galashies; one to Hawick from Newtown Junction & the 4th to Jedburgh from Roxburgh Station. Recently an Electric Telegraph has been laid down. |
