and again in 1464, it was placed in the same position by the Earl of Warwick. There are several markets and fairs held in the town during the year. A weekly market is held every Tuesday, and during the winter a cattle market is held on the third Thursday of each month. The Rude day fair for horses and nolt is held on the 25th September.
