Mr A MacKenzie		 076 This name is applied to a small river, passing through Strath Sgiathach on the south side. It is fed by the waters of Amhainn Dhuth and An Leth-allt. Also at the confluence of these waters it takes its name and flows in an easterly direction till it enters the Cromarty Firth. Its bed is rocky and its banks are flat "in Strath Sgiathach" which it overflows at times. Property of Her Grace the Duchess of Sutherland and Duncan Davidson Esqr of Tulloch.
