Site of CITY WALL [Perth] ... different purposes, it is now Called the "Towns Lead" or Simply "The Lead" Therefore the Site of the walls can be traced along the inside of this water except where there has been some change made in its course which has been the case on the western Side of the town. This aqueduct or Lead is in most Cases Covered or rather arched over and houses and Streets above it, but it can be traced readily throughout by the hatchways leading down to it from the streets, etc.
