But there is a remark made by way of note in the Book of Perth that there was a chapel Somewhere here dedicated to St Bartholomew, but no tradition or information could be obtained regarding. The Old Glovers Hall itself appears from the state of the walls to have Constructed on the ruins or remains of some more ancient building
