A large and populous parish including the city of Perth which comprises its central portion and a large landward district. It is divided for ecclesiastical purposes or convenience into four parishes or districts having churches corresponding, which are distinct and separate in all things relating to ecclesiastical matters, that is, having each its own Kirk session, Elders and Session records, but in all matters relating to the civil affairs of the parish of Perth there is but one Kirk Session which meet at convenient times in a General Session house and keep their records [continued on page 2] |
