It is almost entirely covered with wood except where the bare Rock precludes the possibility of Planting. The greater part of it is the property of Sir Thomas Moncreiffe whose Mansion, Moncreiffe Ho. [House] stands on the foot of it on the south side A most extensive prospect is commanded from it. The whole Carse of Gowrie Strathearn included. |
