Jeannies Brae, a ridge shaped eminence, chiefly covered with fir wood, distant about three quarters of a Miles East from Peebles on the summit of which are the remains of two circular formed camps The outline of the camp on the north part of the hill is scarcely visible, the one on the South is in a much better state of preservation on the North side of said camp is a deep ditch, which gradually looses its depth as it approaches the completion of the circle The property of Sir Adam Hay
