A neat rectangular building lately erected for the purposes of a School house, through the instrumentality of a Mr. Somerville (a native of the Village who bequeathed a Certain Sum of Money for the erection of the house, And Masters Salary, There is generally from 70 to 100 pupils of both sexes attending who are taught the usual Branches of an English education The Master receives £45 per Annum Also a free house and Garden from the bequest together with school fees from the pupils, which make his salary about 80 or £90 yearly
