011 | [Situation] About ½ Mile N. [North] from N [Northern] Extremity of Broughton Heights This is the Remains of an old Hill Fort or Camp, which is in a bad state of preservation. There are the Remains of two Ramparts, Composed of Earth, but whether there were any others Cannot be ascertained. It is Situated on a Small Eminence at the East side of Lochurd Farmhouse and was pointed out to me by Mr. Gibson the Farmer as was also that on the adjoining Plan 7-16 -- neither of these Camps has a name |
