It has been recently drained & now produces sheep pasture. On the Farm of Lochurd. The property of Sir W.G. Carmichael Bart. [Baronet] of Skirling. In a Small pond or Marlhole in this Bog were discovered, Several years ago, Several Horns of the Elk which were in Very good preservation. |
