015 | [Situation] Immediately South of the Ruins of Kilbucho Church A house two stories high with offices and vegetable garden atta [attached] It was the Parish Manse (serving both Parish being divided) and has a few acres of Glebe land attac [attached] The Manse and Glebe were sold and the interest of the purchase Money is equally divided between the Ministers of Culter and Broughton. The house is occasionally occupied by the Heirs of the purchaser (the late Mr Richardson) and the Glebe is let by them to Mr Watson of Mitchelhill. |

[South East] of the ruins of Kilbucho Church An excellent Spring well East side of Kilbucho Manse from which flows a plentiful stream of water the well and stream were covered over by the late proprietor, Mr Richardson, b [but] was not in anyways destroyed. the stream is conveyed through a small conduit from the well till it empties itself into the Mitchelhill Burn. There is no tradition at present known about this well, its only supposed to have taken this name on account of its proximity to St Bees Church |
