[Esquire] of Vetquoy 094 In an arable field fully 1/4 mile south west of Vetquoy was found in 1878 a stone cist made of rough unpolished slabs of stone, the sides of which measured about 2 feet in length, and slabs forming the cover and bottom, about eighteen inches in breadth, this cist contained ashes when discovered.

[Esquire] of Vetquoy 094 The remains of two mounds said to have been ancient burial mounds which may be confirmed with the fact that in the largest one a stone cist was found containing ashes, situated about 1/4 mile West of Vetquoy and about the same distance south east of Junction-road.
