001 An exceedingly commodious and elegantly constructed hotel prominently situated on the sea-beach at the north west corner of the town of Nairn. It was erected in 1859 by a public company principally to accommodate visitors frequenting Nairn in the bathing season.
It is at present the property of Mr William Leslie, chemist, Nairn, who has largely added to its accommodation being 50 beds, 7 private parlours, with public and smoking rooms and has recently erected at the left wing of the hotel a fine salt water bath-house for the convenience of the residents.
