001 This street extends from Bridge St. at its junction with lower end of High street, to Harbour office at wharf, and forms part of the thoroughfare extending from the Railway Station, to the Harbour- The same name is also applied to the short street that branches off it, to the north west, at the north east corner of the wall bounding the play ground of the Monitory School, and joins it again at north end of Wellington Square. The buildings on it consist chiefly of dwelling houses from one to three storeys in height, the lower flats being occupied as shops. Property of various persons.
