006 A large boulder Stone lying on the south side of the road which includes the Field of Culloden about ¾ of a Mile east of the graves of the Highlanders, so called from the Circumstance of the Duke of Cumberland having stood on it when surveying the battle field before coming to close quarters.

006 his name applies to two farmsteadings on the Culloden Estate better known in the neighbourhood as "Leanach" but at the proprietors request written Urchal. Both are seated by Mr Rose who resides on the farm. The buildings are in fair condition, partly slated and partly thatched.
