024 This ruin is situated on an island in Lochindorb, and judging from its natural position and the appearance of what now remains of it, it must have been a place of great strength, nothing now however remains except its walls, which are standing in some places to a height of nearly 20 Feet, and are several feet in thickness, nothing can be ascertained as to the date of its erection, It is the property of the Earl of Seafield.

The celebrated Castle or Fort of Lochindorb is the only other antiquity of note in the parish. The Castle is built on an
