[Situation] In George Street between North Hanover Street & South Hanover street
A pedestrian Statue of bronze of King George IV. It is of colossal dimensions & stands on a pedestal of granite about 20 feet in height. It was erected in 1831 & was modelled by chantery.

The lower apartments are occupied as shops of various Kinds. The upper stories are private dwellings & occupied by respectable familes.
