007 Immediately S.E. [south east] of the Church in the centre of the Grave Yard stands the ruins of the Old Parish Church the tower of which is still entire & in good presentation, the bell of which is still used to summon the parishioners to worship, the remainder of the ruins is converted into burial vaults. - The Grave Yard has not been used for many years as a place of interment altho [although] enclosed.

Church (ruins of) On the west side of the village of Lasswade
Note.. The designation "Old Graveyard" to be written on plan to the enclosure in which the above ruins are situated.

The churchyard has been mostly improved within the last few years. In the centre of it stands the ruin of the Old Church which has been converted into family vaults.
