The given authorities have seen this Church previous to its demolition in 1849, and they concur in pointing out the site as the spot marked on the plan & tracing. It was a Gothic Edifice, dedicated to the Holy Trinity and founded in 1462 by Mary of Gueldres. Its charter of foundation provided for a provost, eight Prebendaries, and a Sacristan. It was a collegiate Charge.
