A small vault on the Calton Hill, the entrance to its interior is from the N. W. [North West] end by a low iron grated door, this portion of ground was granted about 65 years ago by the Town Council to Dr. [Doctor] H. Lyon, (a Jew) as a place of internment, for him, his relations and descendents sbout 6 of the jewish persuasion have been buried here, it is 34 years since the last internment here.
