007.05 | This School is one of four - Anderston, Maryhill, Shettleston & Ruchazie, supported by the Heritors of the whole of the original Barony Parish. On the disjunction of this, & the other Parishes from the Barony Ph [Parish] of Glasgow, no alterations respecting these schools were made. They are therefore, as formerly, Parochial Schools of Barony, but within the newly erected Parishes. The Schoolmasters are appointed from the Barony Ph [Parish] Church, & the sum allowed for the Teachers is so arranged, that if the three other schools were without Teachers, the remaining Teacher employed, would receive the salary given to the whole four. |
