012.13 A village, the greater part of which is in the Parish of Dalziel. There is a T.P. Grate on the South side of the Road after crossing the Bridge over the "Lesmahagow Railway". There are no Schools, Churches or other Public buildings, in the portion of the village in Hamilton Parish. The Railway Station is in Dalziel Parish, about 20 chains south east.
