012.13 A County Bridge on the T.P. Road to Motherwell, over a small stream passing through "Logans Plantation". This name is taken from an old woman who lived near the Bridge at the time it was built - about 1780. It was, upon the authority of Mr. Hamilton, known about 60 years ago as "Jenny Kether's Bridge", but latterly the first name had been altogether dropped. It is well known.

011.16 A large mixed Plantation partly in this Parish & partly in the Parishes of Dalziel & Bothwell. It crosses the Motherwell T.P. Road, on this Trace, & extends to the Parish Boundary.
It is unnconnected on Trace 1 by an arable field intervening, but in the next Parish 0 Dalziel, it has no field inter[--]sing at this place.
Logans Plantation also extends into Bothwell Parish. The origin of Logans is not known. The property of the Duke of Hamilton.
