They are fine specimens and are in good preservation |
Camp (Contd) | This camp is situated on the South west end of Culterpark Hill, and is now under cultivation and the rampart fast disappearing. It appears to have been defended by a single rampart of considerable stability, and there is a faint appearance of a ditch at the North east end; the hill on the East side is steep, and here the ground is not cultivated but ther eis no appearance of a ditch, and the road mentioned by Mr Irving is not now traceable. The hill is isolated and commands an extensive view. |
