006.04 A piece of low meadowland, part in this parish & part in Barony parish. It is liable to flood (OH) [in the adjoining parish] [deleted] in winter. The part of the Loch which is in this parish, is at present being drained. There is a tradition, that Sir William Wallace:- ' after he was overpowered, and before his hands were bound, he threw his sword into Robroyston Loch'. This could not be, as the Barn is more than 1/2 a mile from the loch.
