The part of the Loch which is in this parish, is at present being drained. There is a tradition, that Sir William Wallace:- ' after he was overpowered, and before his hands were bound, he threw his sword into Robroyston Loch'. This could not be, as the Barn is more than 1/2 a mile from the loch. |
