002.15 | This Burn rises from Bishop's Loch & flows through the East side of the parish, from South to North; passing out of the parish where the Cult Burns joins, it enters Luggie Water near Oxgang House in the Kirkintilloch Parish. There is a feeder or Lead from this burn which supplies the Forth of Clyde Canal Basin at Kirkintilloch. The Lead commences from a Sluice gate near Craigentay (ii.10). About Chryston this Burn is called Buthlaw, & in the north of it: & in Kirkintilloch parish - Bothlin. All Property Plan's & the best authourities agree that it is Bathlin |
