051 This stream is called "Balgreddan Burn" from its source to its junction with Gribdae Burn. It rises on the farm of Kirkbride at the junction of Cockbilly Strand with one or two small rills on the farm of Nether Lochdougan and flowing in a Southerly direction it passes thro, [through] part of the farms of Little Sypland and Hartburn, it then enters the farm of Balgreddan thro, [through] which it flows in the same direction for a considerable distance, at the Southern march of this farm with the farm of Gribdae it is joined by Gribdae Burn & from this junction until it enters the farm of Grange about a mile South of Buckland Bridge it is called "Buckland Burn" & from its entrance into the farm of Grange it is called "Grange Burn" to its influx with the River Dee South of St. Mary's Isle.
