[Page] 633) "The object shewn on the Trace is supposed to be the remains of the Temple referred to in Old Stat Act [Statistical Account] it is situated near the House of Hatton, and is called by the Old * * people in the neighbourhood the Catholic Chapel, it is the only object in the neighbourhood having any appearance of Druidical remains, it is nearly Circular and has evidently been Composed of a mass of loose stones.
