025.02 A fine stone structure thrown across the Water at the approach to the town, on the North; Consisting of one beautiful arch of 103 feet span, the height of the bridge from the bed of the river is about 80 feet, If easy access could be got to the doors of the large appartments at the end of the bridge, they might be converted to some useful purpose, they have been used as coal-sheds, but are now empty. the property of the Turnpike Trusts. A County Bridge.
