021.13 | Mr Ross Tenant of Chapel Croft states that the late Lord Arbuthnott informed him that the place, as marked, was the "Site of a chapel." There is the outline of what appears to have been the foundation of a building visible on the ground, and near it is a Spring of water called "Chapel Well" or "Holy Well." The present Lord Arbutnott can not give any information on the subject personally, but he considers the above statement to be substantially correct.
