021 This name is applied to the ruins of an old farm house which would seem to have been two stories in height & a good house in its time. It is situated about 1½ miles north from Dunvegan Castle, & is on the property of McLeod of McLeod.
IAGHAIRT Iaghairt Mr. D. McIntyre, Shepherd, Tatochocker, Dunvegan 021 This is applied to a headland which probably has been an Island, it is connected to the mainland of Skye by a very narrow neck of land, which stands very little above the sea level. The name signifies "A Dreary Place". McLeod of McLeod is proprietor.
AN DUBH-AIRD An Dubh-aird Mr. D. McIntyre, Shepherd, Tatochocker, Dunvegan 015; 021 Is another head-land connected to the above mentioned neck. The name signifies "The Black Height". Both the above places are covered with good sheep pasture.
