It has, to all appearances, been disfigured by the sea. It is called a fort by the natives on the island, but nothing definite is Known about it. It is situate on the island of Taransay near Corran Raah. The name signifies "Stone fort". |

[North East] from the hamlet of Paible. Portions of the wall can be distinctly traced, which is all that remains of this ancient fort. It has the appearance of having been a place of defence and would appear to have been circular in shape & 90 links in diameter. The name signifies "Fort". |
