Beauly Priory. The River Beauly is navigable as far as the Quay at the village for ships braving eight or nine feet of water, and of about two hundred tons burthen. The principal imports to Beauly are Coal, Lime, & manures, the exports are Timber, Potatoes & The Beauly Railway station is within five or seven minute walk of the village or less than half a mile distant. Population of Beauly in the Census of 1871 was 900, or thereabouts
