The second 'Carn' in the 'Carn Meadhoin' description is likely to be a mishearing of 'Carn Sheilg' which is the third Carn on the map.
Note that the interpolations in spelling are initialed in pencil. Looks like 'CWW'. Could be 'C. W. Wilson Captain RE'.
