an irregular cluster of houses situated a short distance East of the Kirkton.
The only antiquities in the parish are the celebrated British Forts on the Brown and White Caterthuns. a cluster of Cairns (19.14.15, & 26.2), the sites of "Lady Well" & St Aidan's Well" (20-13 & 26.3) and a Gallows Hillock (26.3).
