034 A deep wooded Den having precipitous rocks on its sides near the top and waterfalls crossing the stream which flows through the glen or den. It extends from the Denhead of Fullerton to the Farm Steading below on the side of the Forfar & Montrose Road, and is the most remarkable Den on the face of the hill above Montrose Basin. It belongs to Southesk Estate.

034 This building was erected about the time of the disruption with the Est. Ch. [Established Church] - 1843 and was used 'till about 5 years ago - 1856, since which time it has not been used, and is now wholly the property of Lord South Esk, the Free Ch. [Church] Association or body having no interest in it whatever. It was disused on account being in a bad situation for the people to get to when the weather
