The Church of Kettins has been rebuilt and is of a modern construction, the old Church which Stood in the Same place, was in Roman Catholic times dedicated to St. Thomas and was the mother Church of Six chapels viz. Pitcur, Peattie, South Corston, Mooryfolds, Denhead and the Sixth at the South side of the Kirkton or village of Kettins - the most of them are entirely done away with - The present Church is Seated for 550 and there are about 250 regular Communicants.
